Dr Georgeff, MD is a psychiatrist licensed to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency training in psychiatry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and a fellowship at New York University in Manhattan, New York. She has completed a fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry with Psychiatry Redefined. After compIeting her residency she moved to Pennsylvania where she started working for Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She worked as an assistant professor and inpatient psychiatrist at Hershey Medical Center and Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, where she took care of patients, taught, supervised medical students and residents, and served as the medical director of one of the inpatient units. In July 2013 she transitioned into a private practice.
Dr. Georgeff is Board Certified from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Psychiatric Association. She has extensive training and work experience in managing a wide range of psychiatric problems including but not limited to:
Amanda Kendig, CRNP is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, in addition to holding board certification as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has worked in Central Pennsylvania serving the community in family practice, including mental health conditions. Her interest in psychiatry led her to pursue advanced training in psychiatric care through Wilkes University. Subsequently she joined Cedar Valley and now provides focused care in psychiatry with continued interest in the wellbeing of all individuals.
Catherine has worked with adults, children, families, and couples for over 15 years. She earned her master’s in social work from Temple University. Catherine uses many different therapeutic techniques to support those she works with. Some of those techniques are cognitive behavioral therapy, creative therapies and experiential therapy. Some of Catherine’s interest include ADHD, Autism, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD and Complex PTSD, improving self-esteem, healthy communication, and healthy emotional expression.
Lana Deist, CRNP is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Immaculata University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Her clinical experience includes working with adults, children, adolescents, and veterans. Her areas of interest include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mood disorders, and anxiety disorders, with a focus on trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
Ravyn Barth is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). She holds a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lebanon Valley College. Ravyn has worked in community mental health for 6 years throughout various levels of care (inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and community residential rehabilitation centers) as well as hosted free mental health workshops across Pennsylvania. Ravyn holds memberships in The American Psychological Association, and the Pennsylvania Counseling Association. She is a certified mindfulness and trauma informed practitioner. She has a special interest in guiding you to realize your self-worth and develop your self-esteem, by viewing your experiences through a compassionate, loving, and non-judgmental lens, thus empowering you to reach your dreams. Ravyn welcomes and accepts clients from all diverse backgrounds, and mental health conditions. She draws upon humanistic, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral approaches to assist you in achieving the life you desire.
